I offer a service which interprets what the client wants in an idiom which is sympathetic to the site, where ever it might be, but in keeping with the building which the garden or landscape adjoins.

I like to create a simple but bold design, which I then plant up generously. I am increasingly interested in using plants of the region using them in a wilder way (see my BBC Publications book "Planting the Country Way").

My clients might be private individuals - with gardens of all sizes from tiny backyards and townhouse gardens to rolling acres all with budgets of different sizes - architects, interior designers or a public authority. So as you can see I cater for all types of projects.
